The Used Book Sale has been conducted annually from 1958-2019. Proceeds support scholarships for women, including the Grace Hudson Memorial Scholarship and the Dorothy Dodds Scholarship Fund. We have welcomed your used books and appreciated your patronage. Unfortunately, for the safety of our members and the community, we made the decision not to hold the sale in 2020.

Fill out an FM AAUW Branch Support Request Form.
The form must be submitted via email in time to be approved by the board at least one month prior to the event. The board meeting schedule can be found on our calendar.

The AAUW Education Foundation

Mission: The AAUW Educational Foundation provides funds to advance education, research, and self-development for women and to foster equity and positive societal change.

AAUW Educational Foundation awards $3.9 million annually in grants for research projects and fellowships for graduate students and faculty. It is the world’s largest source of funding exclusively for graduate women.  AAUW also funds research on women, girls, and education.

The Legal Advocacy Fund

Mission: The AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund provides funding and a support system for individuals seeking judicial redress for sex discrimination.

Since 1981, AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund has helped students, faculty, staff, and administrators in higher education challenge discriminatory practices such as sexual harassment, denial of tenure or promotion, pay inequity, and inequality in women’s athletics programs.

AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund, a program of AAUW Educational Foundation, is the nation’s largest legal fund focused solely on sex discrimination in higher education.
